Non-Executive Chairman - Dr Merv Jones

Merv is a chemical engineer who has close to 40 years experience in the air pollution field, which includes research, engineering studies, consultancy, management and enforcement. Merv is widely regarded as one of the most experienced air quality consultants in New Zealand and Australia. In 2005 and 2007 he was recognised by Engineers Australia as one of Australia’s 100 most influential engineers.

Merv also has wide experience as a senior executive with a successful leadership track record of growth and profitability in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. His most recent full-time executive position was for seven years as the Asia Pacific Managing Director of URS Corporation, one of the largest engineering design and environmental companies in the world. Merv has extensive experience in development and management of organic business growth in the Asia Pacific region, as well as acquisition experience in both Australia and China.

Executive Director - Robin Ormerod

Robin is recognised as one of the leading pioneers in air quality consulting in Australia and New Zealand. For the past 30 years he has been providing sound scientific advice to both industrial and public sector clients in air quality, climate and meteorology.

Robin co-founded Pacific Air & Environment in 1995, itself the foundation business for PEL.

Director-Company Secretary - John Lemon

John is a qualified lawyer and is the company secretary and legal advisor for a number of ASX listed companies, as well as for several unlisted public and private companies. He was previously a solicitor with Clayton Utz Solicitors, where he worked in the firm's commercial litigation and corporate and commercial departments. He has also worked as an in-house lawyer and/or company secretary for several large Australian and international companies. John is also a director of ASX-listed Union Resources Limited.
