Executive Chairman - Darren Herft, B Bus Acc

Darren is Executive Chairman of Pacfic Environment Limited (PEL). A successful professional service consultant in his own right, Darren brings to the business over 15 years' experience consulting to chartered and CPA accounting firms, as well as other professional service businesses. He has developed resources and systems to improve productivity and workflow management to help his clients build revenue and boost profitability.

Darren is a founder of PEL and was appointed as an Executive Director at incorporation. He has overseen the company’s move into environment technology and has  been engaged as a business consultant with Pacific Air & Environment (PAE) since 2002. During this time, he has helped the company improve its operational results and define its long-term strategy.

Darren is also the founder and executive director of  GPL Financial Services Pty Ltd and GPL Professional Network Pty Ltd (GPL Group).


Non Executive Director - Peter White, B Maths

Peter has had 25 years in the IT and telecommunications industry. During this time he has held senior executive and general management roles in large corporate companies including Motorola, Siemens and Tandem Computers. He has worked in markets across Asia, Europe, USA and Australia.

Peter started his career in software development and in the past 15 years has specialised in growing and developing services companies in the technology sector across a broad range of industries.

Peter’s executive and overseas experience is in close alignment with PEL’s strategies of developing and distributing environment technology around the world. He is the chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, as well as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

Non Executive Director - Cameron Hancock, BA LLB

Cameron has been a solicitor since 2000, specialising in the areas of banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial advice and commercial transactional work. He brings to the business experience and knowledge of commercial and legal practices.  
 
Cameron's past work experience includes working for a national law firm and as in-house counsel for financial services company, MLC. He is currently a partner in BCI Duells where he has provided legal advice to a range of medium to large organisations operating within the environmental, finance, property development, funds management and infrastructure development sectors. BCI Duells provided legal advice to some of the individual firms within the PEL Group during the acquisition phase.

Cameron is admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of Victoria, a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. He s a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

Managing Director - Geoff Masters  

Geoff has been involved in the information technology sector for the past 23 years. Prior to joining Pacific Environment Limited, Geoff was Managing Director and Vice President of Altiris Asia Pacific. During this time, he was responsible for the dramatic growth of the NASDAQ - listed Altiris Inc throughout the Asia Pacific region. This included establishing and growing operations in countries such as Singapore, China, Japan, India, Australia and New Zealand. For part of his time with Altiris Inc, Geoff was based in Tokyo, Japan.

Geoff has also been Managing Director and Vice President of Sterling Software Development Asia Pacific, General Manager of Computer Associates Australia, General Manager of Tandem Computers Australia, Director of the Australian Computer Foundation, and Chairman of TAB Limited’s Information Technology Advisory Council. Geoff has also conducted advisory work to Siemens Business Services and Mission Australia.

Goeff has a proven track record of senior leadership in highly competitive markets, working in roles that have required the ability to grow a business through technology, services, integration and acquisition.
